Sorry for having no updates for so long..

Hi everyone.. i'm back..

have been too busy recently ever since emmanuel was born. He has started teething since 5 months.. and there are simply too many things to do and to teach him.. so i figured out that time was better spent with him than blogging..hahaz..so pai seh to everyone who has been asking me to update the blog..

recently, Emmanuel is learning about texture( wood, wax, plastic and etc) , sizes ( i give him diff sizes of bowls to play with) and diff sounds made by diff materials ( i put paper clips, toothpicks, coins and rubber in used yacult bottles).

Now, i'm moving on to smell.. i'm starting with very natural things first..so i'll bring him to the garden to smell the plants.. also, he will often smell fruits..such as lemon and orange. he is a very curious little one..

these are simply things that is very very useful to a little child. I think emmanuel is a fast learner.. he is now interested in reading.. he loves books man.. so i'm reading alot to him in the afternoon..

i really think Natalie takes after me and Emmanuel takes after his daddy.. he is gonna be another bookworm.. hahaz..

well.. that's it for now.. i am only stealing his sleeping time to blog.. hopefully, i'll have time to update all u ppl who loves natalie and emmanuel about their growing up..

now, i have to go teach him..it's flashcard time.. emmanuel simply loves it..

The crown prince Emmanuel is born

Emmanuel is such a cute little boy.. he drinks milk once every 3 hrs... but at night, he can sleep through quite long.. he drinks about every 4 hrs plus.. that means i only wake up about once and at most twice every night.. such a considerate little boy rite...


he is so so cute.. the first grandSON on both side of the family.. the crown prince.. the most loved now.. of course they also love natalie la... but like most chinese family, boys are always popular....but to me, both males and females are the same.. as long as they are healthy and they grow up to be filial... i dun really care if they are male or female..

But i feel more bonded to the boy..maybe because i'm looking after him all by myself and he is on total breastfeeding.. so i feel inseparable with him... i'm his only source of milk supply..hahaz.. good thing is that it is very easy..he wants to drink then i feed.. no need to go pump, sterilise or warm up the milk..but the bad thing is that i can't even sneak out ( meaning letting someone else look after him, not abandon him alone) for a while..hahaz..

Impressive progress

Natalie has made impressive progress these week. She can speak alot more and also more willingly to try and articulate what she needs. She is able to join 2 or 3 words together...

her ability to understand instructions is so much better also. for instance, I dun need to give instruction directly to her for her to do something. e.g. I told augustine to go switch on the fan. But when natalie hears it, she will go on for me. although she could do this at about 1 1/2 years old. but now she is much much better at it. Also, when i ask her to change diapers, she would go get her changing map, baby wipes and even lie down to wait for me..

so cute. very independent kid.

mummy's secret recipe....MINI BURGER

Step 1: get the ingredients ready.

ingredient list:

egg tofu

bun

cheese
spinach

carrot

white bait

fillet chicken

pork

threadfin fish

eggs
1strawberry

Step 2: steam the carrot until it's soft

Step 3: blend the chicken, fish, pork, tofu, carrot and white bait until it's very fine.

step 4: chop up the spinach and add into the mixture.

Step 5: beat half an egg( both egg yoke and white) into the mixture and mix until even.

Do Not add any sauces into the mixture.

step 6: add a little butter into a pan. put a spoon of the meat misture into the pan and fry until cooked. the patty should look like this in the end.

step 7: add a little butter on the pan and fry an egg

step 8: assemble the burger.

the best thing about this burger is that the child will eat everything. this is very nutritious as it includes meat, protein, calcium, iron, fibre, vegetable and everything else a child needs. More importantly, the child will eat everything without picking out the vegetables or anything.. so for mothers will young kids, you may want to try this healthy burger..
